Money costs...

and a penny saved...

Gentle Reader,

Well Here we are in the State of Indiana (or as I would be hard pressed not to say the State of confusion)!

And to catch you up on all the news that goes on here. I found my little small Wal-mart its no bigger that O’Leary’s cow (you know the one that burned down Chicago (that toddlin’ town).

Also in the news was a notice that Indiana gets to have her first Saint ‘Mother Theodore Guerin’ who founded the Sisters of Providence a religious order of the Roman Catholic Church in 1840. Mother Theodore will be proclaimed a saint by Pope Benedict XVI on the the 15th of this month. So all you Catholics in Indiana have another reason to celebrate. Just a reminder for the rest of us God has called us all to be great Saints and we don’t want to miss the opportunity!

Although God calls us Saints already for example in the book of Ephesians 1:1 "Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:"

So you see Gentle reader as Ephesians is one of the books written to the Body of Christ you are a Saint already (according to God’s way of thinking, do you think we ought to try to live up to His thinking? Anyway here another thing or two to think about.

One day, a one dollar bill and a hundred dollar bill got folded together and began talking about their life experiences.

The hundred dollar bill began to brag:

"I've had a great life," he said. "I've been to all the big hotels, Donald Trump himself used me at his casino, I've been in the wallets of Fortune 500 board members, I've flown from one end of the country to the other! I've even been in the wallet of two Presidents of the United States, and once when Princess Diana visited the US, she used me to buy a packet of gum."

In awe, the dollar humbly responded, "Gee, nothing like that has ever happened to me, ...but I have been to church a lot!"

Well, if your not going to church  tomorrow (and I know many of you won't,) you can say "we can worship God anywhere" But you won't! So I'll pray for you that God will touch your heart in a very special way and remind you that Denis is praying for you.

Love ,

Denis

I was just enjoying your site and your 'Who Am I?' post from back in June, and noticed that you've posted a few of my past cartoons. I'm very honored.
The 'original faithmouse' and I would very much like to visit Ireland one day. We can only hope it would be as pleasant as a trip to your site.
Very happy to see that you're back online again.
God bless,
Dan :)
